Features

📊

Windows-style Taskbar

All open windows displayed in a taskbar at the bottom of your screen, grouped and sorted — click to switch instantly.

⌨️

Alt+Tab Window Switcher

Quick ⌥Tab toggles between the last two windows — just like Windows. Hold ⌥ and press Tab to cycle through all open windows.

💻

Cursor & VS Code Project Names

Taskbar buttons show the open project folder (e.g. Taskbar64) instead of a generic app name — even with multiple editor windows open.

🎯

Smart Dock Avoidance

Automatically detects your macOS Dock position and size, placing taskbar buttons around it without overlap.

🎨

Fully Customizable

Adjust colors, opacity, fonts, corner radius, shadows, button sizes and spacing — make it match your style.

🌍

Multi-language

Built-in localization with support for multiple languages. Automatically detects your system language.

🚀

Lightweight & Fast

Pure Swift, no Electron, no bloat. Runs as a menu bar app with minimal resource usage. Launch at login support.

How It Works

1

Download & Install

Open the DMG and drag BadCode64 Window Manager to your Applications folder.

2

Grant Accessibility Permission

On first launch, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and enable the app. This lets it see your open windows.

3

Use It

Your taskbar appears at the bottom of the screen. Click any window button to switch. Tap ⌥Tab to flip between the last two windows; hold ⌥ and press Tab to cycle through all. Customize everything from the menu bar icon → Settings.
